Taking pictures

Lately when I visit the city centre of (or downtown) Rotterdam I am amazed at the numbers of tourists it attracts nowadays. Although it is by no means as crowded with visitors as our nations capitol (Amsterdam) is, it still is relatively novel to me no longer being able to walk from A to B in a hurry without bumping into sightseers and photographers from all over the world.

It is a strange sensation for me that the empty city in which I grew up in is now a place of interest to so many people. And with all the photography that is going on I think I would do well to take my camera into the city more often. Here’s where I’ve come up with so far.
